This year’s event will include discussions focused on AI security, offensive cyber operations, misuse of commercial spyware, cybersecurity at the state and local level, cyber policy in the Asia Pacific, and fraud and scam prevention, among other keynotes and fireside chats.

“Ten years ago, cyber was largely the purview of a few government teams, some nascent cybersecurity firms and many corporate IT departments,” said Vivian Schiller, Vice President and Executive Director of Aspen Digital. “But as AI and other digital ecosystems have become the foundation of our everyday lives, cyber security policies and preparedness are core to a functioning society and the responsibility of everyone.”

Hosted by Aspen Digital, the 2025 Aspen Cyber Summit will be held on November 18 in Washington, DC. The event will convene approximately 500 cybersecurity thinkers and leaders from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives to discuss pressing challenges and opportunities in the cyber policy space amidst shifts in US and global governance, and reflect on the evolution of cyber policy over the past ten years.

“This is an unprecedented time for the cyber community. From changing government priorities and evolving threats to the homeland, to the emergence of AI, cybersecurity is confronted with more challenges than ever,” said Dr. Sasha O’Connell, Senior Director of Cybersecurity at Aspen Digital. “The 2025 Aspen Cyber Summit aims to tackle these challenges head on. The Summit will gather cybersecurity experts across sectors to further ignite the exchange of ideas and strategies to meet these demands and enhance security for all.”
