Dr. Solomon Abiola

AI/ML Policy and Governance Director, State of Maryland

Dr. Solomon Abiola is the AI/ML Policy and Governance Director for the State of Maryland. Prior, he worked in private industry as Research Science Lead at AWS and Head of Engineering at EcoMap and Tetra. His first startup, Guidance Technologies, leveraged AI for public sector applications. He also holds a joint Ph.D. in Computer Science and Translational Biomedical Sciences focused on AI-driven health teach from the University of Rochester.
