Hilary E. Ware

Hilary Ware has held multiple legal leadership roles in-house at Google, Netflix, Discord, and now Apple, where she is the head of privacy. At Apple, she leads a global team of data privacy/protection and law enforcement compliance specialists in support of Apple’s worldwide privacy, data protection, online safety and child protection efforts as well as working internally and externally on developing issues related to privacy and cybersecurity.  She represents Apple with global policy makers, regulators, and legislators on these issues. Hilary has been an active advocate and ally for diversity & inclusion within the legal profession and also serves on the advisory board of Diversity Labs. She attended Wellesley College, where she double majored in Political Science and English; she received her Master’s in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and her JD from Harvard Law School.
