Carmen Ruiz is a strategic partnerships leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing food and agriculture initiatives in the United States and internationally. As Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR), she builds collaborations among corporations, foundations, and research institutions to support research at the intersection of nutrition, food production, health, and sustainability. Her work also explores how artificial intelligence can accelerate food and agriculture research and innovation. Previously, Carmen led partnership development for HarvestPlus at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and secured support for programs at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
