Francisco Jure

Francisco Jure is an economist and technology policy professional working to make emerging technologies more useful and responsive to development and public-interest needs. He has 10 years of experience helping institutions translate innovation agendas into practical programs, strategic research, and partnerships. He was a Google Public Policy Fellow at the Aspen Institute, where he worked on the Community-Aligned AI Benchmarks initiative. He has also advised organizations including CAF Development Bank and the European Centre for International Political Economy. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Inter-American Development Bank and served as Director of Strategic Priorities in Argentina’s national government, where he led a team advancing public-sector transformation and turning development priorities into concrete workstreams. Francisco holds an MA in International Relations, with a specialization in Technology and Innovation, from Johns Hopkins SAIS, where he received the Christian A. Herter Award for the highest GPA in his cohort.
