Sonam Jindal

Sonam is a researcher whose work sits at the intersection of AI development, human labor, and the organization of expertise and knowledge in society. She recently completed graduate research at the Oxford Internet Institute, where she investigated how the market for human expertise in AI training is developing and what it means for the reliability of AI systems and the future of knowledge production. Previously, as Lead of AI, Labor, and the Economy at Partnership on AI, she led foundational work on responsible data supply chains, publishing widely-cited guidelines and case studies on improving conditions for the workers who make AI development possible.
