Dr. Alain Christian Essimi Biloa is a Cameroonian development sociologist, currently serving as Senior Land Governance Expert at the International Land Coalition (ILC) Secretariat in Rome, Italy, where he has worked since 2016. Graduated from both the University of Yaoundé 1 (PhD in Sociology) and La Sapienza University of Rome (MA in International Cooperation), he brings over 15 years of experience in land governance, natural resources management, food security, and community development. Over the past decade, he has contributed to advance inclusive land reforms worldwide.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Essimi Biloa has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on land policy and governance. Recognised for his diplomacy and leadership, he is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian. He is passionate of arts (music, cinema and literature) sports and personal coaching.
