Amy Schenk serves as the Head of External Engagement for Aspen Digital. Schenk holds extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs on pressing foreign policy and national security matters in both the public and non-profit sectors.
Most recently, Schenk served as the Deputy Head of Strategic Communications and Public Diplomacy at the British Embassy Washington. In this role she managed the Embassy’s relationships and engagements with US based think tanks and adjacent organizations, and advised His Majesty’s Ambassador Dame Karen Pierce and senior UK Government officials on public engagement and private engagements. Prior to the Embassy, she was placed at International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) – Americas and Arab Center Washington DC.
Schenk holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Oregon, is publicly appointed to the Wilton Park Advisory Council and is a member and section Co-Lead of the Foreign Policy for America NextGen program.
