As Manager, Research and Innovation at the Center for Geospatial Solutions (CGS), Margo advances domestic and international research initiatives in land policy, using geospatial technology to respond to pressing socio-ecological challenges including urban expansion and housing affordability. Before joining CGS, she worked at the Central Transportation Planning Staff (CTPS) of the Boston Region MPO, supporting transportation planning and travel demand modelling. Margo has taught an urban data analytics course at Northeastern University and has guest lectured on her spatial data work. She holds a B.A. in Linguistics from the College of William & Mary and a Masters in Geographic Information Science from the University of Edinburgh.
