Megan is a nationally recognized cybersecurity leader and Co-Chair of Wiley Rein’s Privacy, Cyber & Data Governance practice. A former senior U.S. Department of Justice official, she advises global companies on cybersecurity regulation, incident response, risk management, technology use, and national security across the Executive Branch and Congress. Megan regularly represents clients in high-stakes incidents, investigations, litigation, and congressional inquiries, has testified before the U.S. Senate. She has helped clients shape and react to almost all major federal cyber policy changes in the past 15 years, resolved federal cyber investigations, and spearheaded litigation over novel federal cybersecurity directives. She is ranked by Chambers USA as one of America’s Leading Lawyers in Cybersecurity, serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Cybersecurity Leadership Council, and is a Senior Fellow at George Mason University’s National Security Institute.
