Cyber threats are everywhere. Whether it be emails asking for personal information or texts requesting immediate action, threats are getting sneakier and more prevalent in our daily lives. What can you do to protect yourself, your community and our nation?
Take9, a national cybersecurity public awareness campaign, encourages us each to prevent cyber attacks by taking a pause for 9 seconds. If something seems off or too good to be true, it usually is. Trust your cyber senses.
Take9 is excited to be at RSAC™ 2025 Conference in San Francisco, CA, from April 28 to May 1.
You can find Take9 at RSAC™ 2025 Conference around the Moscone Center, inviting participants to come join the pause movement and protect our critical infrastructure. Kick off the week with us on Monday, April 28th at the Protecting Home and Family Track where we will speak to participants on the importance of securing spaces and communities through the pause. We’re on a mission to secure our nation, and there is no better opportunity than to be with the cybersecurity community sharing the importance of the pause and working with you to secure our systems.
You can also find Take9 and the collaborating team, craig newmark philanthropies, Aspen Digital, Wondros, and a creator from the hit show Zero Day, during a West Stage Keynote on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Panelists will discuss how to mobilize individuals to care about cybersecurity and protect their communities.
Cyber threats aren’t just a national security issue—they’re personal. How do we empower individuals to act? Join as we explore how storytelling bridges the gap between expert knowledge and public awareness. From scripted TV to public awareness campaigns, we’ll examine how behavioral science and storytelling can drive real action—helping protect individuals, communities, and ultimately, the nation. Now, he engages in full time philanthropy, focusing on helping and protecting the people who help and protect our country. That includes cybersecurity, trustworthy journalism, and support for military families and veterans. He remains poorly socialized but can simulate social skills as needed. Since then, he’s worked at IBM, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, and worked at Craigslist for about 25 years. The race for AI dominance is often framed as a US-China competition, but this overlooks the role of the Global South in AI geopolitics.
